How to measure your bangle size
You need a soft tape, or a thread and a ruler.

Fold your hand
Bring your thumb in towards your little finger, as if slipping a bangle on.

Measure round the knuckles
Wrap the tape round the widest part of the hand, over the knuckles and thumb joint, snug but not tight.

Or use a bangle that fits
Measure straight across the inside of the bangle, edge to edge, and switch the calculator to “A bangle I own”.
How it works: the hand measurement divided by π (3.14) gives the smallest inside diameter that will pass over your hand. The calculator picks the first bangle size at least that wide.

Questions
What does bangle size 2.6 mean?
The number after the point is sixteenths of an inch: 2.6 means an inside diameter of 2 and 6/16 inches, which is 2.375 inches or about 60 mm. That is why 2.10 comes after 2.8 and is larger, not smaller.
Which bangle sizes are small, medium and large?
2.2 and 2.4 are the smaller sizes, 2.6 and 2.8 the middle ones, and 2.10 and up the larger ones. Measure rather than guess: the right size depends on your hand, not your wrist.
Should a bangle fit the wrist or the hand?
The hand. A closed bangle has to slide over the knuckles with the thumb tucked in, so that is where you measure. It will sit loosely on the wrist, which is normal.
I am between two sizes. Which one?
Take the larger size for glass and metal bangles, which don't stretch and can break if forced. For adjustable or open (kada style) bangles, the smaller one is fine.
How do I measure without a tape?
Wrap a strip of paper or a thread round your hand at the knuckles with the thumb tucked in, mark where it meets, then measure the length against a ruler and enter it as your hand measurement.
